I believe that mathematics is as enriching as art or literature. It inspires me in my everyday life to create. Through this art, I have found healing from trauma. I even briefly returned to school to earn a degree in mathematics. I made various cross-stitch patterns to express my love of math and my love of self. The Euler Identity in mathematics is considered one of the most beautiful equations. In this image, I've stitched in the colors of the asexual pride flag. That is because beautiful people deserve to be represented by a beautiful equation. It is a way of showing pride in my identity to everyone I meet.
