My portrait artmaking process combines photographic manipulation and digital drawing. I transform elements of a digital photo into surreal forms from which I craft a vision for the portrait. From this foundation, I add elements that refine and bring life to the forms. A portrait is done when I feel it invites the viewer into the dream world the subject(s) of the portrait are a part of.
