Profile

Martha Guillen-Paramo has exhibited her artwork in individual and collective art shows and was an art instructor at California State University, Fullerton and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. She has been recognized as an artist by the Los Angeles Times, where she was described as "a late bloomer in the field of art."

As a Latina artist, mother, and homemaker, Martha faces day-to-day obstacles that prevent her from creating art, yet recognizes art's important role in teaching and nurturing her. Every so often she finds the time and energy to express her color and her culture from her home studio in Placentia, California.
