How can I let it forgo

In hyper-sexualized society where everyone wants more…

I tell you I am neither spinster nor whore

I am just, me & myself

Not an elf

I might not fit in your narrative

That doesn’t make me less creative & inactive

Don’t tell me my Asexuality needs to be ‘overcome’

Because I have embraced it wholesome

I am not going to shun

It’s not a pun

I will fight to bring a revolution

Till acceptance of it as a valid orientation.
