This is a landscape that was inspired by a photograph taken in Antarctica. The arch made of ice resembled a doorway whose path is deceptively shallow but covers dangerous ice shelves and hidden dangers. This piece represents a part of my journey in coming out as asexual in which I move from hiding my identity and, upon passing through that archway, I become free to explore the vast sea that is social interaction.
