scattered
Scattered. Unmoored. Untethered. Dissipated.
This piece represents the feelings I have experienced throughout life, but particularly for the past few years - a feeling of not belonging and of not being enough. My strongest fears are connected to being adrift—suspended in air or floating in the water—where my feet are not touching solid ground. And yet, so much of my time on earth has been spent being just that.
Unsure, hesitant, incoherent.
