I really like portraits that have a bit of a dream like feel to them, and for that reason I like softer watercolors and inks. In this case I wanted to express how I feel when I look at warm, soft lights, such as stars or Christmas lights. I don’t know her name, or what the subject might do later. I think she may only exist here, caught between waking and sleeping, peacefully unaware that she’s between two worlds.
